Autumn / Winter Topshop Haul

It was my birthday the other week and i had won a £250 so when i went to London for my birthday i had a massive spending spree , which was AMAZING.

Some of the basic things that i got was my new Moto black Leigh jeans , which are amazing these are perfect to pair with a jumper for the winter months or lately i have been wearing a short sleeve logo top with a Topshop hooded jacket. They are super soft however i think that £38 pounds for them is on the pricey side as i am a student. Another downside to these jeans is that they attract fluff very easily which annoys me a lot. I also purchased another pair of the Heavyweight Clean Seam Legging which i love because they are not see through like most leggings these days and they are super warm for me in the winter months. My last pair did only last me a year however i used to wear those leggings everyday and for £18 i thought it was a pretty good price.

On to jumpers and tops , when shopping i wanted to get mainly jumpers and tops however i did buy jumpers from Forever 21 and H & M. I got a general top from Topshop which is called the burnout top which i got in the colour Cobalt. It can be dressed down with jeans or up with leggings and heels , this top cost £16 which i think is OK however it is quite simple. The material is very soft and its a very easy top to just throw on , when you wake up late in the morning. I then got this beautiful winter jumper which has an embellished flower front , perfect for the winter months as its so soft and warm. Pair any colour jeans , mainly i have been pairing this with blue , black and burgundy jeans. I then got a grey jumper which has a scatter of embellishment on it , its the most itchiest jumper i have ever got. I was so gutted and also i could not get ride of the jumper because i lost the receipt so i will have to sell it on eBay.

On to winter accessories , i have a massive thing about hats lately which topshop is great for. I first got the Angora Cable Beanie hat in cream , which must be the softest hat i have ever got. It is so nice and you know when it suits you because i had strangers say how like the hat was and for £16 i thought it wasn't too bad. Then the other day i picked up the Fur Pom Cable Beanie for £14 at my local store cause i saw it online , which is again so soft and warm . I truly believe that topshop is the best for its hats now because they are the best quality i have ever had. Then i saw a snood which is called the willow bird snood , its lightweight so its good for winter and summer , matches my hat and coat perfectly and was only £18.

I mentioned a few of the main things i brought recently , i have to say a massive thank you for Skadoosh because it made my birthday the best ever. I have got other items from topshop which consist of underwear and some other bits and bobs from other stores but this is mainly based on Topshop.

Hope you liked me haul, please comment if you have any suggestions on what to buy in Topshop that is good quality.

Top 4 Clothing Brands

I apologise for the long blog post but i wanted to evaluate the chosen brands well . Enjoy :)

1. Newlook
I love love love Newlook , i used to think it was more for young teenagers so i didn't really shop there for a while and then a year ago i went there when shopping with my mum in London i went to shop and was very surprised. The best thing about Newlook is that it is super affordable for students , the clothing is very fashionable and good quality. I think they have really stepped up since a few years ago and i have been very impressed , Newlook is now my go to shop for anything.

Price Status: Very Affordable prices
Favourite clothing Statements: Maxi dresses are amazing from Newlook but watch out cause the top bit can be very baggy , Jeans and jumpers are very affordable and will last you forever .
Pros: Affordable , Fashionable , Clothing is good quality.
Cons: I don't think they have a large selection for guys which is a shame , but i brought my boyfriend a pair of 3/4 shorts which he loves but i which they had a larger range.
Rating : 5*

2. H & M
H & M is a great store for variety , affordable clothes that are also good quality , i find that H & M is a good to store for basic clothing but i have got a few pieces of clothing that are very lovely. My boyfriend is a big fan of theirs , as we are students we don't have much money so its good to have a store that we can go to for good quality clothing that is at a good price. There are some clothing stores out their that although cheap the quality is terrible , so although you think oh its only 5 pounds it probably won't last you long at all so you might as well buy something a little more expensive that will last you.

Price Status : Very Affordable prices again
Favourite clothing Statements: Basic clothing such as tank tops , trousers and jeans they have a great selection and for guys they do have good quality coats .
Pros: They are a lovely selection for the basics selection if you want to start out quite a basic wardrobe , having basic tank tops allow you to layer clothing. Nearly all their clothing pieces are affordable , good quality and fashionable.
Cons:  I believe they don't have a huge selection on some pieces of clothing and some of the clothing isn't really towards people of my age so i wouldn't say i would go in their and pick everything but there are a few things that i love in their.
Rating : 4.5*

3. Topshop
I have had a love hate relationship for this company due to the fact at some points i think the clothing is say to expensive and then other times i think it is worth the money . I do believe that their clothing range is immense , however some of the pieces are a bit weird and out their for me that i kinda say to myself ' who the hell would wear that' but that's just me . I think they do have great quality clothing because some of my oldest clothing from Topshop still looks amazing , they are mostly jumpers and i wear them on a day to day basis as i live in England. I say that some pieces you might as well go to Newlook and get for £3 instead of £10-15 at topshop but then their is other pieces that i think are worth investing in. There are pieces such as a got a ying yang watch for my boyfriend from Topman twice as the first time it stopped working however we gave up at the second one cause we realised it was bad quality.

Price Status : Very expensive
Favourite clothing Statements: Jumpers are amazing quality and their jeans are amazing too cause of the large range of colours and designs.
Pros: Amazing quality and most of the products will last you forever , i am waiting till near winter time to invest in quite a lot of jumpers and bobble hats because i love wearing them all year round but the best come out in winter.
Cons: SOOO expensive , although the quality can be worth it but for a student like me a clothing piece from their is an investment :)
Rating : 4*

4. River Island
I do love a bit of river island , i shall always take a trip in their when i go past in town as i always find there will always be a piece that i adore. This company is in between Topshop and Newlook as it had good quality clothing but it is a little more expensive than Newlook. I find their general clothing fashion is more festival looks and quite in fashion clothing pieces. I was trying to decide whether Topshop should go after River Island but i find Topshop does have very amazing quality in their products.

Price Status : Quite Affordable
Favourite clothing Statements: I loved their maxi skirts and i also love their general short sleeve tops.
Pros: Affordable yet they still have good quality clothing and their men selection is very good which i like cause it means its easier to shop with my boyfriend without him moaning for hours.
Cons: Although they have a wide range i don't think their is a lot of clothing pieces that i would pick out cause most of the clothing is quite out there for me.
Rating : 4*
